Program areas at Rotary International District 6290

Hosted conferences for inbound and outbound foreign exchange students promoting goodwill and fellowship between various countries of the world. Hosted the life leadership youth conference for approximately 120 high school students throughout the District, teaching team leadership skills. Hosted District conference for rotarians educating them on the accomplishments of the Rotary year and the tasks charged to them for the future. Hosted president-elect training seminar for all incoming club presidents teaching them leadership skills and goals/expectations for their year as president.
Various smaller Rotary conventions, training sessions, monthly newsletter to all rotarian, public relation activities and support for the Rotary foundation in the efforts to promote world-wide understanding, goodwill and peace.
World-wide community service projects undertaken to provide supplies and other needed items to disaster stricken or impoverished areas of the world. Sponsorship of ambassadorial scholars.
