Program areas at Rosemount Area Athletic Association
Raaa provides programs in athletics for community youth in Rosemount, Minnesota, focusing on program quality and affordability. Mostly volunteer run, raaa benefitted from the help of over 1,200 volunteers throughout the year. The organization offers the following 22 programs (with number of 2024 participants): traveling baseball (261), in-house baseball (547), lacrosse (238), track (662), traveling softball (137), fall traveling softball (144), in-house softball (190), traveling tennis (75), in-house tennis (120), soccer (1,206), golf (46), in-house football (219), 5-8 gr traveling football (224), cross country (86), in-house volleyball (139), fall traveling volleyball (72), junior olympic volleyball (55), swimming (31), traveling basketball (281), spring traveling basketball (106), in-house basketball (473). In 2024, registrations were flat overall. Track registrants decreased significantly, while other programs had small increases. In-house football added a flag football option for a new 1-2 grade age group, and there was a new ultimate frisbee program added for middle schoolers. Raaa also had over 650 clinic participants, spread between basketball, baseball, and softball offerings. During 2024, raaa granted over 120 scholarships, valued at over 18,200 in total, to underprivileged youth.
