Roper St. Francis Healthcare provides care for more Lowcountry adults than any other healthcare provider. Our mission is simple: Healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence. Throughout our entire 160 year history, people have trusted Roper St. Francis Healthcare. Anchored by Roper Hospital, Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital, and Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital, our 668-bed health system includes more than 117 facilities and doctors' offices conveniently located throughout our region. We are Charleston's only private, not-for-profit hospital system with a specific focus on community outreach. The Roper St. Francis Foundation raises funds to enrich the wellness of our community. We have more than 1,000 doctors on our team and are Charleston's second largest private employer with more than 5,900 employees. Our team puts patients first, a quality that has led us to receive top national awards in patient satisfaction year after year.
