Program areas at Rocky Mountain Women's Film
Youth documentary academy (yda) was founded in 2013 and trains young people how to direct and produce their own documentary films.for seven weeks, students learn all aspects of documentary filmaking from professional filmmakers, faculty and guest artists. At the conclusion of the program, students complete a Film, are given a certificate, and learn how to distribute their films to the various mediums.
Film in the community is a program that provides a variety of opportunities to view films throughout the year. This is accomplished through annual events and 'one-off' screenings. The organization also provides a library of films that are available for the public to borrow.
