Roboteers Team 2481 inspires youth in science and technology through activities and competitions, as well as encourages them to recognize career opportunities in the field. The team provides students with project-oriented experience and secures funding for their participation in the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) program. With 20 students and 17 mentors, the team competed in multiple regionals including Central IL Regional, St. Louis Regional, and Green Country Regional, qualifying for the FIRST Robotics World Championship.

Program areas at Roboteers Team 2481

For the 2023 season we had 21 students and 17 mentors. The Team competed in the central il regional in peoria il and then seven rivers regional in la crosse wi. The Team qualified for the first robotics world championship by winning the first impact award at the seven rivers regional and attended the first robotics world championship in houston tx. While at the competition, students lead the Team by scouting, running the pit and working on the robot, and by operating the robot as members of the drive Team.
