In the most recent fiscal year (fy19), RML delivered on its mission to provide quality, compassionate care to patients from our referring community who suffer from prolonged, severe illness. Our care programs included the care and weaning of patients who require prolonged mechanical ventilation, the care and treatment of patients with complex wounds, and the care and treatment of patients that required prolonged acute care hospitalization. RML is recognized as a leader in long-term acute care and is one of the largest ventilator weaning hospitals in the nation. RML served approximately 90 referral sources throughout Illinois, including our partner organizations, major tertiary care centers, and community hospitals.
