A conservation easement isa voluntary legal agreement on the part of a landownerwhich contains permanent restrictions on the use or development of the land to protect certain conservation values on their property. We implement our work by fostering public and private partnerships that result in collaborations between private landowners (including farmers and ranchers), government agencies, state and federal wildlife refuges, Native American tribes, non-profit organizations, businesses, and private individuals.
