Program areas at Rhode Island Disaster Medical Assistance Team
This year, RIDMAT, Inc. effectively deployed field hospitals for three distinct events, aiding over 500 individuals. Our services ranged from urgent medical procedures to vaccinations care. We also offered crucial medical support to many smaller events.
The "Stop the Bleed" program has successfully trained 750 citizens. The NOPE program has developed unique training programs that will be offered in the next fiscal year.
The construction of the Training, Innovation & Leadership Institute has made significant progeress within the year, with its grand opening scheduled for the next fiscal cycle. In the interim, the institute has launched 10 prototype training sessions, which have benefited 200 team members with seminars on leadership and healthcare innovation.
