Program areas at Retired Racehorse Project

Thoroughbred makeover & national symposium: annual event featuring competitive, judged "makeover" event in which participants select.train and perform on Retired racehorses. Also includes demonstrationsof successfully retrained horses in a wide variety of disciplines, andeducational seminars on all aspects of caring for, retraining andre-homing Retired racehorses.
Expos/clinics/seminars: educational opportunities offered regionally or virtually and produced independently or in partnership with a third-party event/entity. These demos, training clinics, speaking engagements, videos and seminars/webinars cover a range of topics unique to the care, training and keep of thoroughbred ex-racehorses.
Magazine/newsletter/website: printed and digital resources supportingthe only publication focused on the thoroughbred breed in equestiransports. The magazine contains articles covering training advice,aftercare and rrp news on all the major programs supported by rrp. Thewebsite contains extensive resources for education and provides a current listing of horses available for second careers.
