Program areas at Restored Connections Peer Center
Oin 2024, Restored Connections Peer Center achieved significant milestones in expanding and enhancing recovery services. We integrated traditional indigenous practices into our programs, developed comprehensive training for recovery mentors, and created internship opportunities to build organizational capacity. Our staff-focused initiatives included professional development, reflective supervision, and workflow improvements, such as transitioning to a new electronic health record system and optimizing case management processes. We strengthened partnerships by collaborating with organizations to integrate substance use treatment into housing and behavioral health services, advocating for trauma-informed care and gender equity. Additionally, we supported individual client advocacy efforts, demonstrated volunteer success by mentoring and certifying Peer leaders, and prioritized budgetary planning to include staff appreciation and community partner support. These accomplishments reflect our commitment to holistic, person-centered care and sustainable organizational growth.
