Remainders Creative Reuse

Twenty studio workshops that highlight underrepresented groups of artists including women and bipoc artists in the last 100 years. Participants learn about a different artist session and create a work of art in the style of that artist.

Friday kids crafts-weekly classes for youth ages 8-13 learning about environmental awareness while making art from repurposed materials. They have access to all of Remainders' materials, kid-friendly tools, and new projects each session.

Thursday sewing skills-students can come to our community space to learn new sewing skills and use repurposed materials. Students go beyond the basics to make something new each session (held weekly) such as clothing, bags, linens, etc. In addition beginning skills, they learn intermediate skills like putting in zippers, pockets, lining, and basic fittings.
