Medical informatics - improving healthcare through informatics. We develop and apply health information technology solutions to generate knowledge about health, disease and treatment, help clinicians make optimal decisions, empower patients, and inform healthcare policy.

Data core - serve as the central research resource for all requests for data from the Indiana network for patient care (inpc) and from other specialized sources. A central resource for electronic healthcare data by providing feasibilities preparatory to research;assistance with subject recruitment and management; access to subject descriptive clinical and demographic data; ability to studyclinical outcomes and guidance in regard to data security.

Aging research - develops, tests, and implements innovative strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare and self-care for medically and socially vulnerable older adults. Explore new models of care for late life depression, dementia, delirium and other common geriatric syndromes.
