Program areas at Regenerative Organic Alliance

The roa has created training and educational materials for farmers and ranchers to identify and integrate the Regenerative practices most suitable to their operation. The roa also provides training and educational materials to certification bodies that oversee audits of farms. Roa developed all the tools for certification including revising the certifying body approval guidelines, improved auditor training, and developed all the certifier tools for conducting audits and review. By the end of 2022, the roa trained a total of 75+ auditors, certified over 90 farms representing 500,000 acres of crop land, 250 crop types, and 40,000 farmers & smallholders. The roa has licensed 80 brands to use roc marks. In addition to supporting roc producers and certifiers, the roc engages in consumer outreach to educate consumers and the general public on the importance of using Regenerative agriculture practices to help improve our planet's health. By increasing consumer knowledge, consumers will be able to encourage farmers to shift to using Regenerative practices by seeking goods that are created with Regenerative Organic ingredients. Roa has presented at numerous conferences and tradeshows to begin the education program for consumers and the general public. The roa successfully achieved registration status for its certification trademark.
