Program areas at Recovery-Hub
The mission and vision of this Organization continue to move forward as it stands against the oppression of addiction, in the name of Jesus Christ, and mobilize others to do the same. Adults and adolescents are experiencing freedom from the devastating consequences of substance abuse as they assimilate into our faith-based recovery community. Our network of independent churches, businesses, public and private schools, recovery centers, and like-minded individuals continues to grow each year. The R-HUB addiction support groups have expanded into several new locations and reach more than 50 individuals each week. R-HUB "sober living" housed several men throughout the year who have successfully transitioned back into the local workforce, the recovery community, and the church community, and are pursuing their personal life goals. More than 100 students from local (church) youth groups and schools engaged in awareness and prevention through volunteering to work on the R-HUB farm. Work teams, local businesses, and volunteers have accomplished vital projects including fence installation, excavation, construction, and landscaping. A team of volunteers attended a conference to be equipped to launch, on the farm, 6 to 8 week equine-associated recovery sessions for substance abuse, grief, and trauma. This Organization has passionately carried out its vision this year and is always hopeful for future successful recovery stories.
