Program areas at Range Center
Residential services - since 1972, Range Center has operated icf/id (intermediate care facility/intellectual disability) facilities to provide residential services to adults with developmental disabilities. Currently, Range Center operates three icf/id homes with capacity for 18 individuals throughout hibbing and chisholm, Minnesota. In 1998, Range Center initiated waivered service programs to provide residential services to adults and children with developmental disabilities and related conditions. Currently, Range Center operates 10 waivered homes with capacity for 40 individuals throughout hibbing, chisholm and buhl, Minnesota.
While participating in the soho arts program artists receiving disability services learn drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques to sell at soho arts gift & gallery.
Vocational services Range Center, Inc. Operates a day training ahd habilitation program (dac) in chisholm, mn and soho arts in hibbing, mn providing the following services: day services: day support services; day training and habilitation; prevocational; structured day; employment services employment services: employment development services; employment exploration services; employment support services Range Center's building offers various different program areas each catering to individuals service needs and interests. Designed based on what is important to and for each individual. Current dt&h programming offered throughout the Range Center and within the community: vocational skills development, culinary services, customized employment services, like skills development. In 1997, Range Center initiated the soho arts program. In 2002, a building in downtown hibbing was purchased for the soho arts program.
