Program areas at Raleigh City Farm

Farmshare: a program that shares produce year-round with nonprofits addressing food insecurity and access and includes three core partners: a place at the table, Raleigh's only "pay what you can cafe", catholic charities food pantry and inter-faith food shuttle's partner agency, alliance of aids services - carolina. All of these partners ensure that the produce is received by food insecure communities. 90% of our produce yield is made affordable and accessible to the community; this equates to 11,200 meals.
Farm to camp - we partner with the salvation army community center's summer camp program and provide this program to youth ages 5-14 to teach them about the importance of sourcing, preparing and eating healthy food. Chefs prepare food sourced from the Farm and campers watch, taste, listen, and bring home recipes and produce for their families. We reach over 60 youth each season with 14 sessions.
Pay-what-you-can farmstand: we host a seasonal Farm stand where customers have the option of paying the suggested price or paying what they can from april - october at our main site and at the salvation army community center at a portable unit. 90% of our produce yield is made affordable and accessible to the community; this equates to 11,200 meals.
