Program areas at Rainier Scholars

Academic Counseling (AC) - We met the challenges of a global pandemic and an urgent social justice movement by increasing our scholar support and enhancing out community building efforts. This included tech help, emergency funds, study sessions, and mental health support.
Academic Enrichment/Recruitment (AEP) - We provide academic enrichment and direct academic support to 20 scholar cohorts. When schools closed due to Covid-19, we responded by providing online academic enrichment and support, providing scholars with nearly 500 hours of in-person, and 180 hours of virtual, academic enrichment.
Leadership and Career Development (LCD) - Early career exposure through teen exploration workshops and summer opportunities, including placing interns. Programming includes grade-level leadership workshops, seminars, and career exploration forums.
