Program areas at Cherishability

Adaptive family camp at 100 elk (online) - 35 participants. Cherishability's flagship program takes place at the a/u ranches' 100 elk outdoor center in buena vista, Colorado. Designed around the needs of participants, this week-long christian science camp program offers activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, hiking, outdoor hot springs, crafting, cooking, and s'more making. Parents enjoy respite time and mutual support.
Adaptive youth camp - 3 participants.our adaptive youth camp offers school-aged children, who would not otherwise be able to participate due to their needs, access to christian science summer camp alongside their peers. This tailored experience offers one-on-one support and accommodates individual participation styles. We thoughtfully individualize the camper's activities, housing arrangements, meals, and schedule so they can experience the love of a christian science summer camp and have fun with new friends.
Vocational training program - 9 participants.participants in this program become part of Cherishability's paid seasonal staff, contributing important services at christian science camps and organizations. Working under the instruction of Cherishability's skilled and caring job coaches and support staff, trainees learn both job readiness and life skills while receiving off-hours chaperoning and support. Our comprehensive approach allows trainees to step out of their comfort zones and grow their independence, friendships, and skills. Trainees work as lodge and facilities crews at the a/u ranches, in buena vista, Colorado.
