The Quit Doc Research and Education Foundation aims to reduce the number of deaths in the U.S. caused by tobacco use and abuse. It created and maintains Students Working Against Tobacco Programs (SWAT), a youth advocacy and empowerment program that focuses on the marketing tactics used by the tobacco industry. The program is driven by youth under adult guidance. In 2019, the foundation presented educational programs to around 6,000 children to improve awareness of tobacco use, with the goal of preventing initiation of use.

Promotion of programs to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke.
Education programs directed to children to improve awareness of tobacco use with the goal of preventing the initiation of use. Presented programs to approximately 2,500 children during 2022.
Creation and maintenance of the students working against tobacco programs (swat). A youth advocacy and youth empowerment program focused on the marketing tactics of the tobacco industry. The program is driven by youth under the guidance of adults. In 2022 there were 18 active clubs with about 270 youth participants. The clubs have been working to get local tobacco control ordinances and resolutions passed.
