Pump House Music Works

The Pump House has continued to gather the public for weekly music events in 2022 showcasing more than 100 local and New England musicians. Our monthly open mic hosts more than 30 participants who perform and network with other musicians. We have opened a courtyard area for gatherings and potluck events including the monthly open mic. The educational programs have continued and expanded. In 2022 we continued the weekly ukulele program and started a weekly Folks School. The Pump House has continued to support many community events and fundraisers for organizations such as RI Community Food Bank, Peace Dale Revitalization Group, Mathew Sheehan Memorial Foundation, University of Rhode Island Guitar Festival and the Kingston Chamber Music Festival. Our Jazz program continues on the first Sunday of every month and Classical music has been featured partnering with the Kingston Chamber Music Festival. The Bar, Rental and Ticket sales continue to grow and demonstrate the popularity and success of the Pump House mission to promote music of all genres, to support musicians and to provide educational programs for artists and the community.
