Program areas at Pulmonary Hypertension Association

Pha's 160+ support groups began the post-pandemic shift from virtual to hybrid and in-person meetings in 2022. Volunteers provided additional support options through pha's toll-free patient-to-patient support line, email phriends, monthly telephone support groups and community facebook groups. 2,369 individuals received navigating Pulmonary Hypertension, pha's resource for newly diagnosed patients. Pha returned to in-person education programing with our biennial international conference and a regional "mini-conference." In addition, pha produced 9 webinars and 15 pre-recorded educational videos for patients and families impacted by ph. 170 individuals received one-on-one support navigating treatment access barriers. Advocates sent 1,531 emails to congressional offices.
