***advocate for the ph community*** - pha hosted a legislative luncheon that drew more than 100 congressional staff to learn about the disease and how congress can improve lives for individuals with ph. Pha responded to 300+ phone calls from patients seeking co-pay assisstance resources, more than three times the number of calls from previous years. Pha joined the marketplace access project in advocating for the "access to marketplace insurance act", which ultimately garnered 176 co-sponsors.raised public and community awareness through psas and media outreach (26 million + impressions), social media, phanews e-newsletter (30,000 weekly subscribers).
