Puerto Rico Public and Applied Social Sciences Workshop

Educational opportunities in applied social sciences- We provided program evaluation and learning services to other nonprofits. We created research related learning opportunities with 7 social scientists for 11 students and 15 community collaborators and hosted 10 community resilience building events and an annual community conference informing of progress in the research.

Knowledge Sharing- Held a hybrid conference on equitable access to safe homes and developed a history of affordable housing exhibit that was taken shown in two locations. Participated in 1 academic conference.

Technology and Technical- We provided support with technology management to 4 nonprofits. Help included problems processing donations, security and network management and online CRM and communications management. Donated 4 retrospective workshops for a large recovery program to document changes in implemenation and lessons learned. Also provided technical assistance to a colloaboration between a community and a nonprofit to define a project and generate proposal for community based environmental justice research.
