PS21 is a not-for-profit contemporary arts center in the Hudson Valley. They present adventurous productions by leading and emerging American and international artists that showcase what's new and thought-provoking in music, international contemporary circus, dance, theater, and entirely new genres at ticket prices that won't box anyone out. Ps21's 2023 season, diverse, distinctive performances by american and international artists, nine world, north american, us, and ny premieres, original works developed by our artists in residence, and expanded pathways community programming for columbia county and hudson valley residents. Performance ticket sales make the compensation of the various artists possible. Ticket sales and robust fundraising from individual supporters, government and institutional funding and cultural services of international government agencies allow the organization to secure world class music, theater, and dance performers. An ambitious program of innovative multidisciplinary performance each successful season provides the funds needed to continue scheduling future performances, community engagement education activities, and residencies, and ensures that this unique opportunity to provide the community increased access to the arts will continue.
