Program areas at Project Learn of Summit County

Training and support for tutors who teach reading to students. Program includes tutoring of undereducated adults (english speaking, age 16 and over, not in school, reading at 4th grade level or below) in reading and writing. 830 students enrolled and 146 ged graduates. Approximately 45,868 instructional hours were provided. There are 47 course offerings and 15 class locations. Beginning to see a return to pre-pandemic numbers, securing devices and internet for virtual students.
