Energy: Project Home contracts with the state of Wisconsin and utility companies to provide weatherization services to low income homeowners and tenants in dane and green counties. During 2023, Project Home provided 218 weatherization, 130 emergency furnace, and 67 emergency water heater repairs and replacements.
Program development: Project Home works with various individuals and organizations to develop and maintain low-income housing units.
Home repair: Project Home contracts with city, county, state, and private organizations to provide Home repair services to low- and moderate-income homeowners. Project Home provided 199 repairs or rehab services to income eligible homeowners to maintain their homes by providing zero interest loans, grants, and subsidized labor by operating three major Home rehabilitation programs and several minor repair events. Project Home also performed 31 repairs or Home performance jobs for homeowners in the private sector.
