Digital: during the 2018 calendar year, Priorities expanded its activities to further develop our long-term research, digital and communications program to mobilize every american possible on issues that affect their lives. That included conducting research to identify the best methods and mediums to reach those impacted by policy decisions, and then communicating directly to these citizens on vital issues via digital communications.
Voting rights: during the 2018 calendar year, Priorities USA pursued a mission of ensuring that the democratic process is accessible to every citizen. We pursued this effort by focusing on three main areas we felt were most vital to this mission. These areas were 1) legislative monitoring to stop repressive voting legislation from becoming law, 2) litigating through our judicial system to overturn these laws, such as suppressive voter id laws, once they passed their legislatures and 3) supporting programs that worked to support these goals.
