Research and Advocacy - In 2023, PRRAC's research and advocacy focused on HUD regulatory reform, more effective enforcement of source of income discrimination protections, funding of housing mobility and school diversity programs at HUD and department of education, and expansion of social housing provisions and tenant protections in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
Publications - In 2023, PRRAC published three issues of its journal Poverty and Race, along with several research reports, including Social Housing Goals in State Housing Allocation Plans - A 50-State Survey; Building Opportunity III: Affirmatively furthering fair housing in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program; Supporting School Integration Through the Federal Housing Choice Voucher Program: Prioritizing School Integration in the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Process: and Supporting Neighborhood Opportunity in Massachusetts: A study of housing mobility program oucomes.
Education and Outreach - In 2023 , PRRAC provided advice and assistance to a number of public housing authorities on their housing choice voucher programs. PRRAC staff also presented at a number of state and national conferences including the 9th National Housing Mobility Conference and a research convening on "source of income discrimination".
