Portland Lyric Theater

The organization produced 6 shows this season, extended $3,000 in grants to performers looking to pursue an education in the theater industry and continued to update the theater building to enhance performances. The organization is committed to accessibility for its audience. One performance per production offers ASL interpretation. A sensory friendly performance of one production allowed attendance by those who needed a less stimulating environment and more freedom of movement, and their families. The Organization also presented one highly successful Unified Production: a show in which actors with cognitive disabilities performed alongside neuro-normal actors.
