Program areas at Youth for Christ - Platte Valley Area
Campus life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of yfc, campus life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of jesus Christ. Campus life encourages a balanced life - mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. 439 volunteer hours; 150+ teens served.
Parent life seeks to build authentic, christ-sharing relationships with pregnant and parenting teens and help them through this often unplanned season of life. By caring for young parents and their children, Youth for Christ seeks to see life-long changes as they learn about following jesus.
Jjm seeks to engage young people in relational outreach as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters). This strategy helps young people acquire and develop a way of living taught by jesus Christ, balancing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of life. These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they reenter their communities.
