Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas Family Planning and Preventative Health Services provided healthcare services through more than 101,000 patient visits regardless of income level, or documentation or insurance status. Planned Parenthoods community health education programs engage parents, educators, and peers to reduce the rates of unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections in Texas. The programs are implemented by professional health educators trained to provide age-appropriate, medically accurate information and enhance the skills and support individuals need to make well-informed and positive decisions about their relationships and their sexual health. Community health education programs are offered at no cost as a community resource for teens and young adults.Advocacy for the right of all Texans to make their own medical decisions and access affordable healthcare.
