Pittsburgh Bereavement Doulas provide physical, emotional,and informational support during labor and birth and have special training in perinatal loss. The Doulas work with the parents to honor this birth and help make decisions based on their unique values, beliefs, and preferences.
Pittsburgh Bereavement Doulas offers free Support Groups to families experiencing the tragedy of pregnancy and newborn loss by providing quality perinatal loss support and access to resources and options as these are associated with better postpartum emotional and physical outcomes.
The Photography program was created in recognition of the need for specialized perinatal loss support for women, birthing people and their families.
