Pals education, recreation, community service, and sports programs serve as the foundation for the development of leadership skills, good citzenship, and good sportsmanship. Pals programs target youth primaryily in unincorprated lealman33714 and 33709, an area identified as one of Pinellas countys five at risk zones with a concentration of poverty and crime. Its pals policy to accept any child regardless of ability to pay and serves all interested children with emphasis on a target population of at-risk youth from low income to poverty level families. Pals endeared by its many community partnerships help expand pals reach to serve more children and their families. Pals name bearing partner, Pinellas County sheriffs office, delivers positive interactions with law enforcement for pals vulenarble at risk youth.
