Program areas at Pennsylvania Society of the Sons of the American Revolution
Member Services - The Pennsylvania Society provides genealogical services and assistance to new and existing members in their search for patriot ancestors. The Pennsylvania Society also collects dues for the National Society, the State Society and the chapters in Pennsylvania, and forwards those dues to the appropriate organization. The Society also provides liability insurance for its active members, a Society newsletter, an active website, and the option to purchase vanity license plates. The Society also assists the National Society in planning a National Congress in 2024 and raises funding to support the costs of that National Congress.
Historic Preservation - We provide contributions to the America 250 historic awareness efforts at the State level and grants for the preservation of Revolutionary War period battlefields and other historic structures.
Patriotism and Education - The Pennsylvania Society encourages members and the public to perform patriotic service. We make contributions to the Wreaths Across America, Libraries, and community service projects by the members of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Children of the American Revolution. We also recognize the Eagle Scout program, and JROTC members. We also provide education and programs to High School, Middle School and Elementary School students.
