Pennsylvania Council of Chief Juvenile Probation Officers works with all existing agencies in the Commonwealth of PA to prevent crime among juveniles and rehabilitate said juveniles alleged or declared delinquent. The council supports projects to reduce recidivism and improve outcomes for juvenile offenders by better translating "what works" into every day policy and practice. Berks county was selected as one of four sites nationally to participate. The council oversees programs such as Juvenile Probation and Juvenile court judge's commission.
