The Peer health Assistance program provides assessment, referral to treatment, and case management for nurses, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, and mental health professionals with substance use and mental health disorders. Clients with rehabilitation contracts are monitored for compliance and safety to practice. Practice concerns are reported to the state licensing boards. The program is funded by license fees; contracted by the Colorado department of regulatory agencies.
