The easements conserve rural open spaceviews, water quality and natural habitats in the Pee Dee river basins,and prime soils and soils of statewide importance for agriculture.most of the easements are in close proximity to other protectedproperties. As of june 30, 2023, Pee Dee Land Trust completedmonitoring of 50% (of 2023 calendar year monitoring) of its easements.no easements have been extinguished or amended.
