Chaplaincy to Peace Officer and incarcerated individuals-5,489 total inmate hours provided for groups in the jail.-1,501 individuals attended living free groups in jail.-55 inmates responded in a survey personal growth in: 1) because of this group, i am better able to make better choices in my daily life (100%) 2) i am now relating in more healthy ways with my family and others as a result of this group (98%), 3) i now take greater responsibility for myself and my behavior then when i first began this group (100%), 4) my thoughts, attitudes, and actions reect a positive change as a result of attending this group (100%), and 5) this group has helped me be more honest with myself, god, and others (100%).-full time director of chaplaincy hired in july-weekly womens worship started.-hosted all rise conference on april 26th focusing on incarcerated women.-hosted Jail sta picnic on may 12th.-hosted the 2nd chance picnic to celebrate returning citizens at trollwood park on june 13th-co-hosted thunder road family event for sheriff's and us marshal's office aug 14th
Integrating the living free model for small groups for overcoming life controlling issues-over 2,200 people attended non-group events hosted in the community (i.e. Picnics, lunches, etc).-237 people attended living free community groups-63 inmates responded in a survey personal growth in: 1) because of this group, i am better able to make better choices in my daily life (98%) 2) i am now relating in more healthy ways with my family and others as a result of this group (95%), 3) i now take greater responsibility for myself and my behavior than when i first began this group (97%), 4) my thoughts, attitudes, and actions reflect a positive change as a result of attending this group (100%), and 5) this group has helped me be more honest with myself, god, and others (98%).
