Program areas at Peace Gospel International

India: first 24 pillars of our india technical college were laid. Upon completion, technical college will provide 32 scholarship seats for our orphan graduates while employing 8 instructors and 9 support staff- students enrolled in the technical college will be able to apply for jobs after graduation. Provided care, nutrition, back to school supplies, and education scholarships to 60 orphans in foster care. Opened 6 india children's hope centers which provided 108 high-risk students with school supplies, tutoring, and fresh-cooked meals. Provided 17 orphans with college scholarships. Emergency medical relief funds sent to the field. Christmas party held at end of year for orphans in program with games, a fresh cooked meal, and christmas gifts given to all participants.
Myanmar: construction of myanmar orphan home on main campus was fully completed, electricity connected, and occupied by program orphans and staff. Began building a new security wall around the main campus and orphan home; security gate also installed.105 children in 4 orphan homes provided complete residential care: an accredited education, daily access to purified water, three nutritious meals a day, medical care, and all hygiene and clothing needs. Supported myanmar farmland: rice harvest yielded 4.4 tons of consumable rice; harvested produce from main campus farmland, both of which fed orphans and staff. Emergency medical relief funds sent to the field. Christmas party held at end of year for children in all orphan homes with games, a fresh cooked meal, and christmas gifts of new clothes and shoes.
Uganda: opened a new girls orphan home which provided complete residential care for 8 orphan girls: an accredited education, daily access to purified water, three nutritious meals a day, medical care, and all hygiene and clothing needs. A new dorm was completed at our uganda boarding high school which will house 175 students. 350 students enrolled at our accredited boarding high school on main campus. 587 students enrolled at our rural mairinya primary school. Raised funds for a new school building plus repairs and renovations to the existing school building at our mairinya rural primary school. A new deep water bore well was installed on the mairinya campus for safe drinking water for students, staff, and community surrounding our campus. Uganda main campus farmland harvested/raised: potatoes, corn, beans, various vegetables, bananas, poultry, and pigs. Rapha medical clinic on main campus served high school students and local community. Emergency medical relief funds sent to the field. Native team organized trafficking awareness programs for local girls.
Nepal: new rehabilitation home and trade school building rented; new gardening project started there. 15 young women were rescued from human trafficking in nepal and enrolled in our nepal rehabilitation home and trade school where they received counseling and medical care, room & board, and literacy classes. At our trade school the girls are taught craft-making, tailoring, cooking and gardening skills. Tailoring shop storefront employed rehabilitation home trade school graduates. 8 children at our nepal orphan home provided complete residential care at the home: an accredited education, daily access to purified water, three nutritious meals a day, medical care, and all hygiene and clothing needs. Education support provided to 10 orphan children living outside of orphan home. 3 orphan children provided residential care at the home for half the year; other half of year these children were reunited with relatives and provided education support. Nepal orphan home renovated kitchen and added multimedia library. Native team organized trafficking awareness programs in different local schools for girls ages 12-18. Christmas party held at end of year for children in orphan home with games, a special meal, and christmas gifts of new clothes.
Philippines (city of cebu): cebu main campus farmland projects included a fishery, hen house project, banana and coconut groves, vegetables, goat and pork stockbreeding enterprise. New chickens and renovations funded for hen house farmland project. Consistently fed 45 orphans and at-risk children throughout the pandemic lockdowns in 2021; meals consisted of farm-fresh eggs, fish, pork, bananas, coconuts, vegetables, and poultry from cebu main campus farmland. Cebu girls home cared for 5 orphan girls, provided complete residential care at the home: all hygiene and clothing needs, daily access to purified water, three nutritious meals a day, medical care, and online school- related needs. Responded to the cyclone crisis in the philippines by sending funds for repairs to our cebu campus property and farmland, along with funds for community support. Funds raised to expand and renovate cebu girls home with spacious sleeping arrangements and additional bathrooms.philippines (city of manila): 76 children enrolled in manila children's hope center after-school care program, received tutoring and fresh-cooked meals. Manila team organized an 8-day, vbs-style outreach program in february for children enrolled in our children's hope center and children from the local community; provided games, healthy meals, and awards ceremony for participation. Distributed rice, produce, and covid supplies (masks, supplements) to local families in need from manila children's hope center.roof to entrance renovated at manila children's hope center. Christmas party held at manila children's hope center for children enrolled there; gifts of shoes, backpacks and food given to children and their families.
