Operated outsourced animal control and shelter for the city of blue springs and its residents. In 2022, responded to 3,062 calls for animal service. 199 animal abuse cases were handled, 159 injured animals treated, and 95 animal bite cases were investigated. Citations were issued for 367 animal control ordinance violations.
Locate, treat and care for unfortunate dogs and cats, including finding adopted homes. In 2022, 1,098 animals were saved and 1,003 animals were adopted.
