Program areas at Partnership 4 Kids
Partnership 4 Kids, Inc. ("P4K") operates comprehensive mentoring programs for at risk youth in the greater Omaha, Nebraska metropolitan area. P4K, a Nebraska non-profit corporation, provides group mentoring services to middle school and high school aged children, as well as goal setting services to elementary aged children. P4K was formed in 2007 when two local youth-serving organizations, All Our Kids (est. 1989) and Winners Circle (est. 1996) joined forces to provide underserved youth the support needed to stay in school, graduate, and pursue post-secondary educational opportunities. Today, P4K provides mentoring services, academic support, life skills training, career exploration, college preparation/access, and the invaluable presence of a volunteer adult role model, or mentor, to 3,100 urban youth from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade within the Omaha Public School (OPS) District. Funding for the program has been raised from individuals, corporations, governments, and foundations. P4K is a not-for-profit charitable organization, established to operate exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or carry out the purposes of the Omaha Community Foundation, which appoints up to eleven directors of P4K.
