Program areas at Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade
The fit2lead youth development and internship program focused on providing academic support, social-emotional learning, job training, civic engagement opportunities and skill-building in sports and job readiness for high-need youth in grades 9-12. The program is provided throughout varios Parks in the goulds, perrine, eureka, and richmond areas of miami-dade county.
Other various programs: the Parks Foundation provides additional support for volunteers, beach and nature center clean-up and beautification projects utilizing special events that provide rich and diverse cultural experiences for residents and visitors. The Parks Foundation also provides educational programs for children related to bike, swimming safety, eco adventures and sea turtles.
