Panah Charity Foundation

Panah Charity provided basic food supplies packages to 1578 poor and homeless families in Afghanistan throughout 2023. These are families with young children living below the poverty level. Panah Charity provided flour, rice, cooking oil, tea, sugar, beans, daal, & macaroni. Distribution of food packages fed 11042 individuals for a month for a total cost of $102537 US dollars. This includes supporting families in winter season as well. Total allocation cost of transportation to distribution sites, banners, and some small miscellaneous expenses included.

Panah Charity provided warm clothing to children, and provided self-sufficiency program to women in 2023. Cost of clothing to children was $5471.68 US dollars and cost of self-sufficiency was $1466.69 .

Panah Charity provided monthly sponsorship to about 113 poor widows with young children and disabled individuals who can not work. With a minimal monthly support, the families were able to buy food for their children and survive. Also Panah Charity helps some very poor college students with their school supplies, clothing, and transportation expense in order for them to continue with their college education. Total cost of monthly sponsorship program was $86605.57 in 2023.

Panah Charity provided humanitarian aids to many needy families throughout the year 2023 including providing meat, school supplies to poor children, covering medical expenses and many more. . . Total expense of these type of humanitarian aid to families was $37665 US Dollars.

Panah Charity Foundation provided emergency relief programs in 2023. Victim families of earthquake in Herat Province and victim families of flood in Baghlan Province & Ghor Province were supported. Total cost of emergency relief programs was $32026 US dollars in 2023.

Panah Charity Foundation in 2023 built 15 water wells in villages to create clean source of drinking water to poor families and children in those locations. Drought has caused lots of damages in villages and families are struggling finding clean source for drinking water.
