Program areas at PNB

Pacific Northwest Ballet Association (PNB) consists of forty-seven dancers and a live orchestra which presents about 99 performances including six repertory productions of full-length and mixed repertory ballets, the Nutcracker holiday classic, tours and a season-ending Encore performance. The company's repertory includes more than 278 works by 106 choreographers and continues to expand as new choreography is introduced each season. Through almost 250 public events (including performances, community outreach, and fundraising events) at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Seattle, as well as national and international venues, such as tours to New York. PNB performs for more than 225,000 community members annually. PNB's state of the art studios serve as rehearsal space.

Pacific Northwest Ballet Conditioning works with dancers, students, staff and others to develop core strength and stability, long lean muscles, increased range of movements and flexibility. They service 254 unique customers in 5,318 visits.

PNB School is regarded as one of the preeminent ballet institutions in the nation, setting the standard for excellence in training. Our Professional Division and Summer Course attract and train talented students from around the United States and the world. The School offers a complete professional curriculum to about 1,000 students annually, and plays an instrumental role in the developing the Company's distinctive style. The School offers recreational dance instruction to an additional 600 individuals. Scholarships totaling around $700,000 are offered to help attract and retain promising young artists. The School has a faculty of 38 instructors and 24 piano accompanists at two locations.
