Program areas at Children's Advocacy Centers of Pennsylvania
The childrens Advocacy Centers of Pennsylvania (penncac) supports the delivery of a collaborative response to child abuse cases in all counties in the state, providing training, technical assistance, mentoring, networking opportunities, and peer review to assist in development and sustaining of Children's Advocacy Centers (cacs). Cacs ensure a child- focused, evidence-based, and trauma-informed response to child abuse prevention, investigation, and intervention. Penncac undertakes communications activities across print and digital platforms to provide collective presence and common messaging for cacs; promotes the role of cacs to partner organizations, media, and the general public; and to provides citizens information on where to find their local cac as well as resources on child abuse prevention and reporting.
