Inpatient and outpatient services - inpatient admissions were 4,699; total patient days were 19,001. Inpatient services include cardiac stepdown and Medical surgical nursing floors along with a neuro-psychiatric unit as well as an obstetrics unit with 499 deliveries in the 2022 year. There were 26,362 emergency department visits, and the emergency room is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in order to provide emergent care to a rural area. The next closest emergency care is one hour away from the city of west plains. All other outpatient and ancillary registrations for 2022 total 82,662. Those services include, but are not limited to, laboratory, pathology, blood bank, radiology, ultrasound, mri, ct scan, nuclear medicine, mammography, pharmacy, pulmonology, rheumatology, cath lab, dermatology, endocrinology, woundcare, pain management, oncology, respiratory therapy, a sleep Center, as well as 3,285 surgeries. The objective is to continue to expand in services and through health care professionals that will provide the scope and coverage to meet the needs of the community members and others. Home health admissions & recertifications for the 2022 year total 581. Programs include: omc home care (health care provided to patients in their homes using skilled nurses, home health aides, rehabilitation therapists and social workers). Omc support services (homemaking, personal care, respite care, and in-home companion care), omc transitions (end-of-life care offering assistance, encouragement, and support), and omc hospice (physical, emotional and spiritual care) in the final stages of illness.

Services for behavioral Healthcare totaled over 155,000 encounters for the 2022 year. Rehabilitation therapy encounters totaled 217,699 for the 2022 year. Therapy services provided include occupational, speech, and physical therapy. Services are provided through the Ozarks Medical Center location along with clinic locations in the cities of winona, gainesville, thayer, alton, mountain grove, and various schools in the local communities.
