Program areas at Our Silent Canvas
During the past year, Our Silent Canvas focused on expanding Our collaborative projects at the intersection of arts and technology, whilep reparing for several significant releases in 2024. Our primary areas of activity included:1. Artist collaborations: we developed several collaborations with artists from the u.s. and around the world, including computer artists, digital artists, animators, and creators working with artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies. These collaborations aimed to push the boundaries of contemporary art, particularly in how technology and traditional art forms intersect.
2. Immersive installations: a significant focus of Our year was the early-stage development of a major immersive installation project in collaboration with the office of the dalai lama and the mind & life institute, set for 2025. This installation explores profound philosophical and meditative themes. We also began research into expanding Our involvement in complex immersive installations, including the idea of establishing a physical space for these experiences.3. Media and performance spaces: we initiated the development of a space where we can present a wide array of Our collaborative productions. This includes a performance space dedicated to experimental music, visual art, and immersive installations that explore deep philosophical concepts.
4. Promoting meditation and contemplation through music: continuing a theme prevalent in Our past work, we further promoted meditation and contemplation, particularly through the integration of music. We believe that sound and experimental art are powerful tools for encouraging mindfulness and meditative practices, and this mission remains central to Our future projects.
Income from sales of cds, albums, other artwork created by artists supports the mission by presenting multi-media art to a diverse audience.
