The numerous anti-trafficking projects outlined as: intervention, Rescue, restoration, and empowerment continue to grow and thrive with 2,626 direct beneficiaries.this year we finished new building projects: 1) the first project is a community freedom center in upcountry benin, in one of the anti-trafficking villages where hundreds of kids have been intercepted from being sold into slavery. In this village, we also oversee a large microfinance savings and loan group. This building holds around 500 people. 2) three (3) fresh water wells were donated to three villages that did not have adequate drinking water. Two of the wells have been completed. The third well is almost complete. In benin, over 100 new children were brought out of slavery this last year due to Orphan Relief and Rescue's involvement in their families' lives.our microfinance savings and loan program has grown significantly, now serving 26 groups in various villages in benin running with a total of 1,430 men and women, and with more than 400 apprentices under them.professional business development & lifeskills workshops were conducted with 31 young adults who were once in our orphanage safe homes and our now living on their own.
