Registration:ocvip has registered more than 70,000 voters over the last ten years including 2,395 in 2018.
Voter Information and activation:ocvip ran an education project focusing on Voter engagement through issue based conversations and Voter registration. Particularly, ocvip focused on marginalized communities, communities of color, young adults, and immigrants to increase their civic engagement in California's congressional districts 39, 45, and 48. In 2018, ocvip reached almost 10,000 registered voters leading up to the primary election. For the general election, ocvip identified 17,230 registered voters by door to door canvassing and 12,189 by phone banking. Ocvip's efforts helped contribute to a 71% Voter turn out rate in the 2018 general election.
