Operation Spark

Adult - comprised of Bootcamp and Immersion. Bootcamp: We present life as a professional software developer in 5 weeks, introducing students to the daily workflow of building software in a professional environment. By the end of the class, our participants are on their way to being super users with the command-line and leave literate in the basics of JavaScript after building several apps and games on Node.js and HTML5. They can debug an app and problem solve on the Internet and know where to find resources to continue learning on their own terms. They also learn soft skills that make them a great team player. Immersion: Immersion program brings students to the level of full stack software engineer after three months of focusing on nothing but writing software for 11 hours a day, 6 days a week.

High School to High Wage: The high school program is available for juniors and seniors in New Orleans public schools, Baton Rouge public schools and neighboring parishes. The primary goal is to offer low income students an alternative path to post-secondary education. Program runs on a semester basis with classes 4 nights a week.
