Operation Restore Dreams

Operation Restore Dreams is a non-profit organization specializing in early childhood education for at-risk and disadvantaged children between the ages of 0 and 5 in portsmouth, Virginia. The program provides curriculum-based education for the children. Detailed research will be conducted to prove the organization's effectiveness to facilitate future funding and growth. The overall goal is for Operation Restore Dreams to expand to other parts of the united states and even other countries. The research will also allow the current curriculoum to be adjusted and adapted to maximize its effectiveness. To ensure the data collected is not skewed by children who did not have the benefit of the entire program, the program will only accept children under the age of 1 year. Operation Restore Dreams believes strongly that the brain development of children between the ages of 0 and 5 is absolutely critical to their future success. The program also believes it is the lack of brain development in children that is an enormous contributor to many of the ills in our society - poverty, unemployment, homelessness, mental illness, drug use, crime and racism. As a result, Operation Restore Dreams' mission is to luse their curriculum to adequately impact the brain development of the children in a positive way such that the children can realize their Dreams.
